GB — Guitar Builder

Design, build, and hear a guitar in one app. GB merges two earlier projects — TACO (the guitar designer / CAD workbench) and PASTA (the parametric acoustic delta engine) — into a single product where the designer and the physics lab are two views of the same design.

What it does

• Acoustic designer (/) — top thickness maps, bracing, soundholes, and body volume, with modal & radiation analysis cross-checked inline against the physics engine.
• Electric designer (/electric) — a builder's 2D working drawing of body, neck, pickups, and balance; on-demand 3D; STEP/STL CAD export. The preset catalog carries a restored library of classic instruments (Strat '54, Tele '52, LP '59, ES-335, baritone, …) with real measured densities and string sets.
• Delta Lab (/lab) — the full A/B workbench: change woods, pickups, strings, or geometry and get the computed sound delta (brightness, output, sustain), per-parameter sensitivity, and your own dry clip re-rendered as if played on the target instrument.

Why the merge

The designer converts edits into engine setups, the engine returns simulation-confirmed deltas inline, and the lab is the magnifying glass over the same design state — one loop instead of two apps and a copy-paste seam. "Open in Delta Lab" hands the current base/target pair straight from the drawing board to the physics bench.
